Kawepe Food Distribution--Overflow Crowd

IMFC is on YouTube! Check it out!

Kawepe food distribution: Overflow Crowd

I had heard much about the work of Manna in Kawepe, but this was my first time to be there. The crowd was very large. Now, remember, this area is under heavy Muslim influence. Our missionaries had not been able to get any work going here, but it is amazing to see how Manna Ministry has infiltrated this area. Sixteen people gave their lives to Christ the day we were there. The new church that has been planted here is truly alive and well. Pray that  the work the Lord is doing here will continue to grow. It is your help and your support which is making this ministry in which hopeless people find Hope possible. More pictures

The Word Spreads to Fort Portal

The lady at center initiated work in her home of Fort Portal
Fort Portal

We left Gulu and drove to Fort Portal. We saw Karuma Falls on the Nile River, crossed a flooded bridge and drove many miles on mud slick roads. But it was worth it. The church planted by KCCN just outside Fort Portal is vibrant. Here is how it started. The lady above from a church started through Manna Ministry in Kampala wanted a church in her village here at Fort Portal. A team came to share the gospel and God started the church. It was a joy to worship with them. They are the real deal. What a great victory! More pictures

Pastor Paul

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith--these words from the Apostle can also be applied to Pastor Paul, who went to be with his Lord early in December. Read Douglas' tribute to this gentle but focused servant of God...

A simple process...

God is doing great things in Kampala and many other locations in Kampala through the faithfulness and vision of Benon, Deo, Douglas, Joseph and others. Their strategy is simple:

  • Manna Ministry comes into an area, providing hope and an opportunity to share the gospel.
  • New converts are baptized and started in the Bible Way correspondence course to help them grow in Christ.

  • New churches begin as believers gather together to worship and learn.
  • Leaders emerge and are trained so that they can continue the cycle.
This simple process is bringing hope to hundreds of Ugandans. Please keep praying for the pastors and leaders as they seek God's direction for new churches and distribution points.
